Join us for an exciting and imaginative adventure at Storybook Olympics (Fictional Edition), where young storytellers become junior journalists for The Fable Press, a news agency in the storybook world! This unique camp combines the enchantment of your child's favourite fictional character with the thrill of the Olympic Games, offering children aged 5-10 an opportunity to explore creativity, storytelling, and journalism.
Over four fun-filled days, campers will:
- Choose their favourite fictional characters and reimagine them as Olympic athletes.
- Learn the basics of storyboarding and create engaging visual narratives.
- Develop their artistic skills.
- Write captivating stories and captions to accompany their visuals (for older children) or describe their stories verbally (for younger children).
- Design a picture journalism "feed" that showcases their work, just like a professional news agency.
Our experienced instructors will guide your child through each step, ensuring they gain new skills and confidence in a supportive and inspiring environment. By the end of the camp, your child will have created a unique and imaginative portfolio that combines art, writing, and storytelling.
